Ferrari Roma on display for 150th anniversary of Rome Capital

Rome 04 febbraio 2020

The newest Ferrari could hardly have failed to put in an appearance at the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Rome as the capital of a united Italy. The Ferrari Roma, a coupé dedicated to the Eternal City, was displayed yesterday evening outside the Opera House for the historic anniversary celebrations. It appeared in the presence of the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella and the highest representatives of the country's institutions and Rome City Council.

Unveiled last November during an international event at the Stadio dei Marmi sports stadium, the new Ferrari is inextricably linked to the Italian capital. Its pure and refined elegance pays tribute to the city's timeless beauty and puts a modern twist on the style of the Granturismo berlinettas of the 1960s, the glamorous stars of the Dolce Vita.

The link with Rome was reaffirmed last night with another invitation to this new design icon to represent Italian excellence before the eyes of the world.
