As per tradition, the drivers and teams paraded through the city centre to open the weekend of the 92nd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The event attracted thousands of fans to Le Mans on the Friday before the race.
It is an occasion where you can feel the passion for cars and the love of the fans who pack the Circuit de la Sarthe stands and the city streets to watch the world’s oldest and most famous endurance race, which kicks off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, 15 June. Fans seeking souvenir photos and autographs warmly welcomed the Ferrari – AF Corse team 499P drivers, who will start from the second row of the grid.
Both official team crews were present: Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen in Hypercar number 50, and Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi driving car number 51. Ferrari official drivers Robert Shwartzman and Yifei Ye paraded through the city centre streets with Robert Kubica. The trio pilot the AF Corse team’s car number 83.
