The Ferrari 499P and 296 GT3 on display at the Italian GP

A unique opportunity for the public at the 94th Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix to be held at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza over the weekend of 3 September. The Fan Zone within the Brianza circuit facilities, set to host the fifteenth round of the World Championship featuring the SF-23s driven by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, will also showcase the Ferrari 499P – winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans – and the 296 GT3 that excelled at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. TheTifosi will be able to get a close-up glimpse of the two cars that made their racing debut in the 2023 season and have already entered the annals of endurance racing, on a weekend that will see Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi – who will bring home the trophy won at Le Mans – and Antonio Fuoco as guests in the Scuderia Ferrari garage and hospitality.

499P. The Fan Zone will shine the spotlight on the Hypercar that saw the Prancing Horse return to the top class of the FIA WEC half a century after its last appearance. A hybrid all-wheel drive prototype, the 499P has clinched five podiums in five rounds of the world championship. A brilliant list of honours for the Ferrari – AF Corse team, the highlight of which was the triumph at the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, celebrated on 11 June by the number 51 499P driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi. The same weekend also saw the Hyperpole clinched by teammates Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen sharing the number 50 sister car.

296 GT3. Also on static display will be the Ferrari 296 GT3 of the Frikadelli Racing Team, which won the notorious 24 Hours on the North Ring of the German track on 21 May in front of more than 235,000 spectators. The win took the Maranello manufacturer onto the top step of the podium for the first time with drivers David Pittard, Felipe Laser, Nick Catsburg and Earl Bamber. For the production series-derived car that made its debut in January at Daytona – and is based on the Ferrari 296 GTB – the first triumph came at the Nürburgring in one of the most renowned and historic endurance races at international level.

The Monza Fan Zone will be located between the straight opposite the pit lane and the ring of the Alta Velocità track. The area will be open from 2 p.m. on Thursday, 31 August until Sunday 3 September, with free access, exclusively from Viale Mirabello (from Friday, entry will be reserved for GP ticket holders only).
