Ferrari's Le Mans victory celebrated at Goodwood

Chichester (UK) 16 July 2023

In the evocative setting of the Festival of Speed at Goodwood, in the United Kingdom, Ferrari was the protagonist of a celebration linked to its victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours, achieved in June in the centenary edition of the world's oldest endurance race.

Three Prancing Horse cars paraded from the paddock, where they were on display throughout the event - along with the 499P number 51, first across the line at the Circuit de La Sarthe - to Goodwood House.

In the spotlight were the Ferrari 250 TR/58 and 275 P, the models that achieved success at Le Mans in 1958 and 1964 respectively. In these unforgettable racing Ferraris, Britain's James Calado and Italy's Antonio Giovinazzi paraded to the applause of the audience. Opening the parade was the SF90 Stradale in the special livery that pays homage to the 499P Hypercar, driven by Enrico Galliera, Ferrari's Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, flanked by Spanish driver Miguel Molina.

Welcomed by the applause of the fans, the cars stopped in front of the Duke of Richmond's mansion, then the drivers who have been protagonists of the season in the FIA WEC with the Ferrari - AF Corse team greeted the many fans who were waiting for their arrival. The victorious Le Mans experience was retraced by Molina, who shares the number 50 499P in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Antonio Fuoco and Nicklas Nielsen; Giovinazzi and Calado, who on 11 June climbed onto the top step of the podium together with Alessandro Pier Guidi.
