Eight races and confirmation of Imola on FIA WEC 2025 calendar

Le Mans 14 June 2024

The FIA World Endurance Championship has confirmed an eight-round calendar for the 2025 season, all hosted in the same countries and on the same circuits as this year’s events. Thus, the Ferrari 499Ps competing in the Hypercar class and the 296 LMGT3s in the production-derived class will contest eight rounds across four continents.

The season will kick off at the Lusail circuit in Doha, which hosts the Prologue and the Qatar 1812 KM on 28 February. After this, it will stop in Italy at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola on 20 April. The venue has renewed its agreement with the FIA WEC for four seasons, ensuring it remains on the calendar until 2028. Then, Belgium welcomes the next round at the historic Spa-Francorchamps track on 10 May. Both races run over a six-hour distance.

La Sarthe in France will host the 93rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 14-15 June. The scene then shifts to Brazil for round five, the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, on 13 July. The last three rounds will see stops at COTA – Circuit of the Americas, USA, on 7 September, and Fuji, Japan, on 28 September, both six-hour races. As per tradition, the World Endurance Championship will conclude with the 8 Hours of Bahrain on 8 November.
