The warmth of the Brazilian crowd, which welcomed an FIA WEC race ten years after its last appearance, and the atmosphere of the unique Interlagos track provide the backdrop to the new episode of “Full Access: The Red Line” available on Ferrari’s YouTube channel. This edition focuses on the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.

Round five of the World Endurance Championship on 14 July—less than a month after the Prancing Horse’s second successive victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans—ended with the Ferrari – AF Corse team’s 499Ps number 51 and 50 in fifth and sixth positions, respectively. Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi drove the number 51 car, while Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen featured in the number 50.

The season’s only South American round also saw the Le Mans Hypercar number 83 of AF Corse claim the runner-up spot in the independent teams’ standings, courtesy of the 11th overall placing of Ferrari official drivers Yifei Ye and Robert Shwartzman, teamed up with Robert Kubica.

As usual, “Full Access: The Red Line” gives the public a behind-the-scenes look at the world championship efforts, which go far beyond the track activities. From the team’s arrival in Brazil to the drivers’ discussions with the managers, briefings with the technicians, and meetings with the Ferrari fans, episode five of the docuseries allows us to relive the thrills of a round held against the spectacular backdrop of the 73,205 spectators who witnessed the event over the weekend.
