Free practice 3: Carlos fourth, Charles fifth

Carlos Sainz and Charles were fourth and fifth fastest respectively in the final free practice session prior to qualifying which starts at 15.

36 laps. With plenty of cloud cover and after overnight rain, temperatures were considerably lower than on Friday afternoon. Carlos and Charles first went out on Medium tyres with which they set times of 1’18”832 and 1’18”290 respectively. In the second part of the session, both SF21s were fitted with the Soft compound tyres on which the drivers set their quickest times. Sainz stopped the clocks in 1’17”497 and Leclerc did a 1’17”520.
