After a full season in the FIA World Endurance Championship at the wheel of AF Corse’s 488 GTE shared with Miguel Molina, in 2022, the Brazilian will be at the wheel of Risi Competizione’s 488 GT3 Evo 2020 in the IMSA Series Endurance races with Risi Competizione and in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for Iron Lynx.
After competing in the world championship, Daniel Serra drove for Risi Competizione in the IMSA series alongside Davide Rigon. The pairing won the Endurance Cup. He also contested the GT WC Europe, finishing on the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps podium, and worked on developing the 296 GT3.
The Brazilian in the 2023 FIA WEC aboard the 488 GTE claimed the lowest step of the podium in the opening round, the 1000 Miles of Sebring, before taking fifth place in Bahrain. Serra gave the 296 GT3 its maiden outing in the GT WC Europe – Endurance Cup, sealing a runner-up spot in Barcelona. In America, the best result for the official Prancing Horse driver in the 296 GT3, entered in the GTD Pro class, was second place at Watkins Glen alongside Davide Rigon.
