    In the early days, Ferrari clients had huge freedom of choice in terms of fabrics, leathers, woods, colours and finishes, resulting in some genuinely one-off creations tailored minutely to individual tastes and desires.

    Today Ferrari maintains this tradition, offering a range of programmes that enable every last detail of clients’ cars to be tailored according to their personal taste using the Configurator Tool, before selecting one of our special customisation programmes to meet their individual requirements.

    Atelier Ferrari is a special studio for clients to visit to make their car even more unique, and mould it to their personal tastes. The Atelier is a sophisticated environment with a wide selection of materials and accessories available to see and feel.     Ferrari Tailor Made is the exclusive programme for customers who wish to personalise each element of their car to create a one-of-a-kind Ferrari that reflects their requirements and tastes.

In those early days, owners had huge freedom of choice in terms of the fabrics, leathers, woods, colours and finishes of their cars, resulting in genuinely one-off creations tailored minutely to their individual desires and tastes.

    The Tailor Made programme continues the tradition that began in Maranello in the 1950s when every Ferrari sports car was bespoke. The extensive range of materials and finishes on offer led to some remarkable one-off “Tailor Made” masterpieces meeting the desires of the period’s most passionate and discerning clients. 

    Today, the choice of colours, materials and craftsmanship is almost unlimited due to the Ferrari Design Team’s tireless research. Passion, innovation and excellence always characterise their work.

    This expression of unlimited creativity leads to some of the most truly original Ferrari cars, destined to gain increasing prestige and value over time.

    The Tailor Made programme serves a limited number of clients per year, assisted by their own Personal Designer and a team of experts to ensure that each and every element of the car is uniquely specified, whilst upholding the traditions and prestige that Ferrari is renowned for.

    To showcase the potential of the Tailor Made programme, Ferrari presents a one-of-a-kind Roma Spider. Born of the quest for the finest sustainable materials in Europe, this Tailor Made Ferrari Roma Spider epitomises customisation, excellence and innovation in every detail.
    A JOURNEY TO PERFECTION
    The journey – the central theme of this Ferrari Roma Spider Tailor Made project – was the inspiration behind component development and the search for special materials. The start and end point: the Maranello headquarters of the Prancing Horse.
    ON THE PATH OF EXCELLENCE

    The craft of innovation is seen in the seats, which feature handcrafted fabrics combined with a yarn made from recycled tyres, and in the laser-finished aluminium details – the shield on the wing and the compass rose and geographic coordinates of Maranello etched on the bonnet.

    Recycled aluminium is already used in certain components of the twin-turbo V8 engine to achieve high performance with lower environmental impact. With the finish of this Roma Spider, Ferrari has gone a step further with elements that include chrome-free Nappa leather, certified-origin wood for the tonneau cover, and parts made of recycled sand from the casting processes in our factory.

    Reflecting Ferrari’s DNA, three collections – Scuderia, Classica and Inedita – represent the sporting soul, heritage and innovation of our marque. Clients can take inspiration from one or more of these collections, adapting the various elements according to their tastes. Tailor Made offers maximum freedom of choice regarding the combinations used, enabling an unprecedented level of exclusivity to be achieved. A range of new solutions and innovative materials are available – the result of continuous experimentation and the influence of new trends from outside the automotive industry.

    This collection pays tribute to our racing DNA with a series of exclusive track-inspired materials, including rubberised leather, technical fabrics, Kevlar® and hi-tech microfibres, carbon-fibre trims, matte and satin finish metals.
