It is here you will find contemporary décor blended with natural materials and authentic Portuguese design, all the while immersed in the valley’s majestic vineyards.
Wine making, steeped in tradition, is the very core of this regions popularity, and during this Ferrari Tour you will have the opportunity to discover some of its secrets.
In fact, you will drive through two different regions famous for completely different kind of wines: Vinho Verde and Douro region.
This trip will introduce you to how these wines are produced and the reasons why they made this area so famous all over the world.
Of course, this is a driving tour and we want your experience to be as safe as possible as you explore this region, immersed in its sumptuous landscapes. So whilst you won’t have the opportunity to taste these precious wines in every location that we visit, you will be able to enjoy these wines’ magical flavors during dinners.

DAY 1

Coffee break and walk in the vineyards in Monverde Wine Experience Hotel, Telões
The Monverde Wine Experience Hotel is where you will learn about the very first step that leads to a successful wine: cultivation of the vineyards.
Here a guide will explain the careful process of wine making as you walk amongst the Vinho Verde vines, tasting some of the charming local produce and immersing you in the spirit of this renowned region.

Wine cellar dinner in Quinta da Pacheca, Lamego
As you continue your sensory trip through Portugal’s wine traditions, there is no better way to end this first day of Ferrari Tour Douro Valley than with a wine cellar experience.
Quinta da Pacheca is located in the Douro Valley and here you will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the region’s most typical wines.
Afterwards, you will venture deeper in the very heart of the cellar for an exclusive dinner among the old wine barrels.
DAY 2

After a gentle driving session together with your fellow Ferraristi, winding your way through the breathtaking Douro Valley landscapes, your next stop will be a unique wine cellar: Quinta da Côrte.
Recently restored, Quinta da Côrte preserves both its soul and sense of place resulting in a Quinta which brims with authenticity.
Here you will take a further step through wine “history” as you experience first-hand the grape harvest: the whole process that leads the raw ingredients from the vineyard to the barrel.

Lunch at Bomfim 1896 with Pedro Lemos, Pinhão
Quinta do Bomfim has been home to Dow’s Port since 1896 and farmed by the renowned Symington family for five generations.
Bomfim 1896 with Pedro Lemos is inspired by traditional Douro family kitchens, centred around large chimneys atop wood-fired ovens, reflecting the heritage of the region and its cooking.
Here you will take a break from your driving adventure for a lunch where you will experience this region’s culinary traditions.

Hotel dinner at Vale de Abraão Restaurant, Samodães
Six Senses Douro Valley’s interior dining room boasts a traditional walk-in fireplace and 18th century azulejo tiles, cork ceilings and granite floors.
After a long and thrilling driving day, this classic, yet contemporary atmosphere is where you will enjoy a delicious, seasonal market-inspired, meal cooked using the best quality fresh ingredients of the area.
DAY 3
Coffee break and wine assemblage workshop at Quinta da Aveleda, Penafiel
In the heart of the Vinho Verde Wine Region, surrounded by a timeless landscape, you will find Quinta da Aveleda.
Having already learned about the cultivation and harvesting processes, here you will experience the very last step of wine production and the chance to create your own wine during a wine assemblage workshop.
You will transform yourself in a real wine producer by tasting, blending, labeling, and corking your own bottle.

Lunch at Casa de Chá da Boa Nova, Leça da Palmeira
Built amongst the rocks, hand in hand with the sea, Casa de Chá da Boa Nova is the most ambitious project by the famous chef Rui Paula.
This two-Michelin stars restaurant will be the finale for this Ferrari Tour and will provide you with an unforgettable culinary experience, but that is not all.
