Ferrari Challenge North America Prepares for Final Stretch

After four rounds, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli North America turns the corner to begin its final events of the 2024 season in just a few weeks’ time. The series has provided entertainment from coast-to-coast, while also visiting – as a supporting event – the Montreal Grand Prix for the 10th year.

Each round has been unpredictable, with various winners coming out on top in exciting fashion. Here’s a closer look at where each class stands, with the Ferrari 296 Challenge competitors facing three rounds remaining in the year and the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo classes facing two.

Trofeo Pirelli. The top Trofeo Pirelli class could not be tighter heading into the closing events of 2024. Dylan Medler (The Collection) and Roberto Perrina (Ferrari of Seattle) are tied with 243 points. However, Matias Perez Companc (Ferrari of Central Florida) and David Musial Jr. (Ferrari of Lake Forest) are lingering close by with 238 and 229 points, respectively. The top three drivers have each scored a victory this season, while Musial has finished on the podium in three of the last five races.

In Trofeo Pirelli Am, Brian Cook (Ferrari of Seattle) began a dominant season with four straight victories, but has encountered obstacles in recent rounds. He still maintains a 10-point lead over Tony Davis (Continental AutoSports), winner of three of the last four races, and the duo are poised for a head-to-head battle for the remainder of the year.

Coppa Shell. With two weekend sweeps plus an additional fifth victory, Eric Marston (Ferrari of Westlake) has taken control of Coppa Shell just past the midway point of the season. However, seven of the 11 other drivers in class have landed on the podium – notably Chuck Whittal (Ferrari of Central Florida), Yahn Bernier (Ferrari of Seattle) and Robert McWilliams (Ferrari of Washington), who all have multiple top-threes so far.

In Coppa Shell Am, Roger Monteforte (Ferrari of Central New Jersey) has also emerged as the class leader by nearly 30 points over Steve Check (Ferrari of Rancho Mirage).
