Ferrari’s Le Mans triumph celebrated in Trento

Maranello 11 October 2023

The images of the Ferrari 499P crossing the line cheered on by 325,000 spectators assembled in the grandstands of the La Sarthe circuit have already passed into the collective imagination of motorsport fans. And the echo of that Ferrari victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans continues to fuel the passion of its Tifosi. On Thursday 12 October, the historic result will be celebrated at the Trento Sports Festival, where attendees will have the chance to admire the Hypercar number 51 on display and take part in a meeting held at Palazzo della Regione in Via Antonio Gazzoletti, 2 (from 4.30 p.m., free entry).

Antonello Coletta, Ferrari Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti, and Antonio Giovinazzi, Prancing Horse official driver, will retrace the emotions of 10-11 June. Together with Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado, Giovinazzi climbed the top step of the podium in a weekend made even more special by the Hyperpole and fastest lap courtesy of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen, the teammates who shared the cockpit of the 499P number 50.

The talk, hosted by Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Mario Salvini, will focus not only on the two days of the most prominent endurance event in the FIA WEC 2023 calendar but also on the highlights of the Ferrari – AF Corse team’s season.

From the relationship between the drivers of the two crews and the allure of endurance racing to the debut at Sebring – when the Prancing Horse returned to compete in the top endurance class after half a century – and behind the scenes at that intense week at Le Mans, there will be a whole host of topics for attendees to enjoy thanks to the contributions from Coletta and Giovinazzi.
